Freddie is an eleven year old chihuahua. He was found wandering the streets, emaciated, frail and covered in fleas. I found out about this guy and picked him up on the way home from work. We had just had a party and I had a backseat full of leftovers. This hungry little man ate every last morsel in less than two minutes when I stepped out to fill the car with gas. He remains hungry to this day. Who knows how long he went without eating? Freddie Mercury has the gift of making the new littles feel welcome. He is the first one they warm up to enough to show their playful side. Freddie is a quirky, energetic, cuddle bug who struts like his namesake. Freddie enjoys walks, one on one attention, food and snacks! Freddie was Heartworm positive and needs monthly medication. He is still spunky but is beginning to show a few signs of age. He sleeps a little longer and takes a while to get moving. He is on a variety of supplements to support his joints and cognition.
