Meet Sinead

Sweet, sassy, diva

Birthday: 7/15/2012

I got a text about Sinead exactly one day after rescuing Guinness. I didn’t have room for him and now needed to find space for her. She came from some very questionable circumstances that are quite honestly still difficult to piece together. She ultimately came from wandering the streets of South Austin.  An Austin non profit  neonatal kitten rescue reached out to see if we could help. She had this dog and needed to find help. When I picked her up she was disoriented, timid and wary. She was diagnosed with a tick borne illness that we treated with antibiotics. She also has arthritis and limited vision. We recently took her for a meet and greet with an elderly woman who might be a potential adopter. Sadly, Sinead is beginning to show signs of dementia. We have an upcoming appointment to see how we can best help manage her new struggles. She is very comfortable here but needs constant support and monitoring. She has recently decided that Big Freedia is her comfort companion and crawls into whatever bed Big Freedia occupies to snuggle. Our goal is to make her as happy and comfortable as possible for as long as we can.
