Tonks was recused from a kill shelter in September, 2026, just in the nick of time. His vet visit revealed the following: ear infections in both ears, a bladder infection, a heart murmur, an increased prostate, malnourished and severely anemic (he will likely need a blood transfusion) and several bad teeth. He is on a ton of medications and will be monitored at home and re evaluated by the vet regularly. Heartbreaking that he was allowed to get this bad. He is with a wonderful foster family now, but is available for adoption!
